Number 1 reason for someone who's not interested in videogames, and I know one so I know what I'm talking about, is the engaging, movie-like storyline. The Last of Us is an 18hr-long, interactive, movie. And the fact the gameplay is not too complicated also makes it appealing of course. And then as they say in the article, "The Character Acting Is The Best I’ve Ever Seen (In A Game)" -> true! Ellie is by far the most convincing character ever seen in a VG! That girl looks...
Looks like PS VR is getting some pretty raving reviews all across the board, which comes as a pleasant surprise to me. I really wish I could get to try it to see what it's all about, as I'll probably never have the money to actually purchase it, as I already need to get myself a PS4 Pro and a new TV. Here's hoping it sells like candy to increase the odds on it becoming available as a second-hand product at some point.
I don't know why some people insist on claiming the Yakuza games shouldn't be compared to the Shenmue games, the two games really are in the same genre, it's not GTA, but those are heavily script oriented sandbox games with an emphasis on action (albeit without guns), and Yakuza is indeed better than Shenmue, but the Shenmue games are old now, maybe if they were more recent they could hold a candle to the Yakuza games. Here's hoping Shenmue III will, at least.

First gamers address Hello Games death threats for not releasing the game on schedule, then make a mountain out of a molehill and blow No Man's Sky's minor faults completely out of proportion, then they send the UK's Advertising Standard Authority pay a visit to the guys at Hello Games, then gamers devaluate the game's rating on Steam to the most unfathomable levels even the most blatant turds don't get... yeah that's right, keep going on like that, you'll be satis...
In terms of resolution you mean? Nope. Not the vast majority of PCs, no:

If you mean in terms of art style, care to elaborate what game on PC has art that rivals games like Uncharted 4: A Thief's End or Bloodborne? Arma III maybe?
Why are some people here saying they'll enjoy their PS4 Pro for the next two years? You guys really believe the PS5 will come out in 2018? How would they have time to release all the games announced for it in such a short timeframe? That episodic Final Fantasy VII Remake alone sure as hell won't be completed by then, they still haven't released the first part.
And to the attention of the ones who spread false information about the PS4 pro and the difference with...
Dunno about the Oculus Rift, but the Vive...

Good review, but it's a bit strange that he depicts setting up the PSVR as a hassle, or a "bodge work" when it really is not all things considered, when compared to the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift.
Same here, I have only vague memories of that game, but I remember the game was too hard on several instances, including that race yes. The mission objectives were not always very clear, well the path you were supposed to follow during the on-foot sections wasn't, and I remember I constantly lacked ammo to take out enemies which didn't seem to have my problem. As a matter of fact I never finished the game and ended up selling it.
But overall I still enjoyed it and I'm tha...
With all due respect to Amy Hennig, what with being one of the key people behind the enormous success that the Uncharted games were and all, isn't "games soaked in the blood of the people that made them" a bit of an exageration considering we're only just talking about game development after all? Game devs don't go to the front where the enemy is and sure as hell aren't exposed to the risk of taking a stray bullet as far as I know, this is something soldiers do, so p...
Good grief, thank you Bethesda and Sony for solving this issue for us consumers! In the end, it is us consumers' interest that should be the only thing that counts but it's unfortunately not always the case, so it's cool to see an example like this where two companies could move past their initial beef to work something out for gamers. NOW Bethesda will see my money.
You guys rock!
edit: OMG Skyrim in native 4K on the PS4 Pro!

Interesting thanks, and looking at the article after the link provided at the end of the article after this link (yeah, take your time to figure this out if you have to, lol), it's also interesting to see the amount of hassle it is to set up the Vive. Wow, I had no idea how cumbersome that is.
Where's my PS3 version? It's in the tags up here but the PS3 game isn't releasing in the west it seems...
True. I actually don't even understand how Sony manages to come up with a product that costs only ⅓ of the price the two others retail for, although the price entry is that of a new-gen system, it's almost mind-bogglingly cheap for this kind of hardware! They must be selling it at a loss, and what a loss it must be. At the end of the day this will be the deciding factor of whether consumers adopt Virtual Reality or not. Along with how people feel when using it of course. Last night I ...
I want Dragon Quest Builders, but I am yet to buy a PS4 and would like it on PS3, as the game in Japan was also released for that system. Are they only releasing the PS4 version in the west?
I can't download it, neither from the main link nor from the 2 mirror links. Anyone managed to get it? Where else could I get that? I'd like to play that game, playing in the Super Mario levels as Samus Aran or Megaman sounds like so much fun!
Loved the PS3 ads featuring kevin Butler! Sony should bring him back, that is, if he's not legally tied to another brand.
Best marketing stunt eva!
-> passing off your next-gen system as a current gen one to get all the simpletons in the press to write dithyrambic articles about you and how you're the savior of the industry!
They forgot to mention share play. It's just awesome that a buddy you have in Japan for ex. can let you enjoy a game that just came out in his country and is not available in the west, albeit with a maximum duration of one hour of course, but it's renewable!
Gee thanks, in addition to a lengthy and interesting article about the console I want I get a link to a cool website that enlightens me as to which 4K TV set to buy in the future! Cool! a Sony 4K TV below the 700$ mark! XD
On topic, I know there's gonna be native 4K games on the PS4 Pro, so I'm not too worried about that, the Pro is fantastic value for money. But I would like to know how we'll get to watch 4K content on the PS4 Pro, beside Youtube and Netflix. Can we just...
